Arapahoe High School celebrates its 30-year reunion beginning with a reception on Friday, Sept. 13 at Arrowhead Golf Club in Roxborough Park. On Saturday, Sept. 14 there will be dinner and dancing downtown at the Sevilla. Sunday, Sept. 15 there will be a tour of AHS and "Woodsie" at Castlewood Park. This item will serve as notice that we are now grabbing ourself by the scruff of the neck and hauling ourself off the high-school reunion beat - until, that is, the event of our ends-in-a-0 reunion comes around next year about this time.

This week we gladly wrote about the upcoming Wilson Class of '72 reunion, and sort of grudgingly carried a subsequent item about a Millikan All-Class reunion. Now, we're asked by reader Mark Hawkins to mention the Arapahoe High School Class of '72's 30th reunion. It's in Denver for crying out loud! Our sphere of interest drops off radically somewhere this side of South Gate. Still, if any Arapahoers have stumbled this far out of range, check out your class' Web site (www.ahs72.org).
